LIGHT is an intensive discipleship ministry — mentees commit to a real rhythm, and families enroll them during the summer enrollment period each year. Ages 12–25.
How It Works
Three steps in.
Step One
Come to a Joy Night
Every Friday, open to everyone — no enrollment needed. Meet the leaders, feel the room, bring a friend.
Step Two
Enroll in the summer
Families enroll mentees during the summer enrollment period. We walk through expectations, agreements, and the year ahead together. This year’s dates are announced at Joy Night and in our updates.
Step Three
Step into the rhythm
Virtual Cohort every Wednesday. Day of Service & Day of Development every 4th Saturday. The LIGHT Retreat when it comes. A mentor network around you the whole way.
For Parents
Intentionally careful. On purpose.
Every adult serving mentees completes a background check, an interview with Dayjoh or Kayla King, and child-safety orientation before serving. We never publish a mentee’s name, photo, or story without a signed media release — and for minors, a parent or guardian signs too.
